We are Brian and Gwen Smith
Our adventures started in 1981, where we met in Lake Forest, IL working for Abbott Labs on a summer intern program. We spent every moment we could exploring Chicago and the surrounding areas with our co-workers and new friends. We married in the fall of 1982 and honeymooned in Maui and O’ahu Hawaii. We enjoy hiking together and meeting people around the world.
In 1992, God called us to move from Ohio to Arkansas where we moved in next to our best friends, Doug and Margaret Rogers. They were in the same stage of life (even married in the same year) and we became fast friends with all our common interests. Together, we raised our kids, volunteered at a local church, started a couple of businesses and traveled. The traveling started when the guys came up with a surprise cruise to celebrate the 15th Anniversary.
With both Gwen and Margaret taking up photography as a hobby and Doug and I taking up comedy as ours, we headed out into the world. Almost all the pictures on this site were taken by Gwen (just a few here and there by Brian). You are welcome to relive some of our favorite moments with us.
